Sexual Health Clinic
OOHC is pleased to offer a new Sexual Health Clinic staffed by members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community or Allies.
For your convenience, these clinics are held during evenings.
These clinics are designed to be efficient, with quick appointments to respect your time.
There are 15- and 30-minute appointments, which are described below.
Most appointments will be scheduled with Drs. Kimelman, Magwood, or Springman.
Dr. Briggs schedules appointments separately.

Appointments can be made online or by calling OOHC.
Please tell us the reason for your appointment so we can best help you and send the proper documents to you in advance. If your desired appointment type isn’t available, call us and we will make changes if possible.
Important Notes
Some clinics can see men only.
People who need immediate treatment for exposure to HIV must be seen within 72 hours of being exposed.
An OOHC clinic might not be available in that time-frame and patients should go to an Urgent Care or Emergency Department instead.People who have been sexually assaulted or raped must go to an Emergency Department and cannot be seen at OOHC.
OOHC Sexual Health Clinics do not offer contraception or abortion services.

Appointment Descriptions
STI Testing and/or Treatment (30 minutes)
These appointments are for:
Regular STI testing to stay on top of sexual health.
People with symptoms of an STI.
People who have been notified by a sex partner or Public Health about possible exposure to an STI.
People on PrEP who require regular follow-up and STI testing every 3 months.
PrEP Initial Consultation (30 minutes)
These appointments are for:
People who wish to start a medication (Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis - PrEP) to help avoid infection with HIV.
STI testing also will be done.
Pregnancy Testing (30 minutes)
These appointments are for:
People who want urine tests or blood work to look for pregnancy.
This clinic is not for pregnancy follow-up or obstetrical care.
This clinic does not offer abortion services.STI testing can be done.
PrEP One-Month Follow-Up (15 minutes)
These appointments are for:
People who have started PrEP and require follow-up after a month on the drug.
People who are on PrEP for more than one month need an STI Appointment every 3 months rather than a follow-up appointment.
Erectile Dysfunction (15 minutes)
These appointments are for:
People who are having difficulties with their erections.
STI testing will not be done.
Vaccinations for Hepatitis A, B, or HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)
These appointments are for:
People who are not immune to hepatitis B and need a booster shot.
Men who are not immune to hepatitis A and are having sex with men.
People who are under 26 years old and did not receive Gardasil/HPV vaccination.

STI testing will not be done.
HIV Post-Exposure Prophylaxis (made by telephone only)
These Appointments are for:
People who are fairly certain that they may have had a possible sexual exposure to HIV WITHIN 72 HOURS. It is too late to start HIV medication if the exposure was longer than 72 hours ago.
This visit will include STI testing and may include treatment.People who have been sexually assaulted or raped must go to an Emergency Department and cannot be seen at OOHC.
